The Guest House is a cosy Rondavel (round house), ideal for 2-4 people.


It is set in a beautiful lush green garden amongst rose bushes and tropical fruit trees. The romantic bedroom, lounge in African style, bathroom and kitchen, are spacious, comfortable, and lovingly furnished. Behind the rondavel a lake invites you to swim or to catch fish.


Besides, the lake is a paradise for birds, where you will discover fisheagle, kingfisher, wild ducks , harons, egrets, sugarbirds, weavers and many more.

Breakfast, lunch or dinner are served at the guest house, either inside or outside, at the lakeïs edge or wherever you wish. You can choose from our varied menu where you will find exotic specialities like crocodile, springbok and ostrich meat, Indian curries and bobotie, as well as traditional German dishes.
Most of our served vegetables and fruits are organically grown. All breads and cakes are home-baked. Delicious picnic baskets are also available on request.
 The guest house is also suitable for the self caterer. The kitchen is complete with fridge, stove with oven and all kitchenware.

Prices for accommodation:
(meals are not included)
  • Per person per night: 300 Rand
  • One child up to 4 years stays free.
  • Children from 5 - 15 years pay half the adult price.
  • Grown-ups from 16 years pay the adult price.
  • A deposit is payable when reservations are made.
  • Deposit for one night stay: 100%
  • Deposit for two nights or more: 40%
  • Surcharge for self-catering R 50 per person per day. We regard a reservation as self-catering , if the guest/s don't order meals from our menue for at least half of their stay.
