About one-hours drive from Cape Town and nestled seductively on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Tulbagh, you will find Lemberg Wine Estate and Guest House.

The estate was established in 1978 and taken over in 1994 by new owners from Germany (Freiburg), Klaus und Uschi Schindler.

Because of their enthusiasm for South Africa and their passion for making wine, Klaus and Uschi moved to South Africa, expanded the scenic estate (21 ha, 4 ha under vines) by building a new wine cellar and a magnificent guest house (a rondavel), planting new wines (Pinot Noir and Pinotage) and taking great pride in providing personalised and warm hospitality for all visitors and guests, also offering mouth-watering gourmet meals and picnics in a cosy athmosphere.

  German magazine WEIN GOURMET:
"Lemberg Estate is recommended as one of
  South Africa's best wine estates".

Opening times:
Lemberg Estate is open daily for wine-tasting and -sales and cellar tours.
For picnics, lunch and dinner bookings are essential.
