Local and foreign-owned companies or organisations in South Africa that employ or wish to employ foreigners generally have a strong interest in minimising any time-consuming formalities that may stand in the way of the foreign employee being able to take up work timeously and without unnecessary hindrance.

Bearing this in mind IMCOSA's Corporate Services are customised to ensure that the company or organisation's needs are identified, and an appropriate strategy is defined in oder to attain the relevant permits for the employees as speedily as possible and without complication (Click here for details on the scope of IMCOSA's services). Besides this IMCOSA takes care of a number of other requirements for the employee's smooth relocation to South Africa.

Special Category: Corporate Permit

Companies with a proven ongoing need for foreign employees can obtain a so-called "corporate permit". This permit is issued not to the individual worker, but to the employer and allows it to employ a specific number of foreigners in specific positions on an ongoing basis.

The corporate applicant needs to motivate and prove its need for foreign staff. Once issued with a corporate permit, the organisation can recruit foreigners, who will be granted "corporate worker permits" on submission of the relevant application, which is substantially less complex than the ordinary work permit application. The corporate permit allows corporations a more time-effective, flexible and predictable human resources administration.

If your company or organisation in South Africa employs or wishes to employ a certain number of foreigners, simply contact us for a free and non-binding assessment. We will gladly advise you personally on the various options available.
